Ford Recalls 2024 Maverick For Improper Capacity Labels

Incorrect Vehicle Capacity, Tire Pressure, and Spare Tire Size Label...

2024 Ford Maverick XLT EcoBoost AWD. (Ford).

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling approximately nine units of its 2024 Maverick pickups because the tire and loading information label states incorrect vehicle capacity, tire pressure, and spare tire size. As a result, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.”

Incorrect tire and capacity information may lead to vehicle overloading, increasing the crash risk.
