Shelby American is building on its legacy of high-performance vehicles with the launch of the 2024 Ford Shelby F-150 super truck. Limited to just 800 units for the 2024 model year, production has already started, and these powerful pickups will be available for purchase this summer.
Based on Ford’s Lariat trim F-150 4×4 SuperCrew, the Shelby F-150 starts at $130,000. For those seeking even more power, an optional supercharged version is available starting at $139,995, delivering a staggering 785 horsepower.
“Our 2024 Shelby F-150 lives up to its namesake and honors Carroll’s commitment to building high-powered, high-fun vehicles,” said Gary Patterson, President of Shelby American. “Carroll loved driving trucks and SUVs as much as he enjoyed racing cars. This new Shelby F-150 embodies that spirit, offering the power to tow your boat to the lake, tackle off-road adventures, and clean up nicely for a night out in the city.”
The 2024 Shelby F-150 follows in the footsteps of its 2023 predecessor. Built on the 2024 Ford Lariat 4×4, 5.0L SuperCrew platform with 400 standard horsepower, the supercharger option nearly doubles the V8 engine’s output to 785 horsepower. The truck is equipped with a FOX 2.5 factory race series shock system featuring internal bypass shock technology, adjustable dual speed controls, performance rear traction bars, and a Shelby by BDS 3-inch lift system. It rolls on 22-inch Shelby alloy wheels fitted with 35-inch premium all-terrain tires, and the exhaust note comes courtesy of a Shelby by Borla CAT-back system.
“Watching the 2024 Shelby F-150 come to life from an engineering spec sheet to the first build has been incredible,” said Vince LaViolette, Shelby American Vice President of Operations and Chief Designer. “We’ve invested in the latest performance engineering and technology to ensure this truck is worthy of the Shelby badge. The real excitement happens during test drives when we push the truck’s performance capabilities, making sure it’s a vehicle Carroll would be proud to drive.”
Inside, the Shelby F-150 features a carbon fiber aesthetic trim kit, billet racing pedals, embroidered floor mats, and a serialized console plaque. The exterior boasts a Shelby dual intake hood, body color fender flares, power running boards with rock guard trim and entry lights, and Shelby striping and badges.
A total of 800 Shelby F-150 trucks will be built for the U.S. market, with international availability through Shelby Authorized Distributors. The starting MSRP for the naturally aspirated version is $130,000, while the supercharged version starts at $139,995. Both models come with a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty, including the powertrain.
Each purchase of the Shelby F-150 includes membership in Team Shelby, the worldwide club established in 2008, and eligibility for documentation in the official Shelby Registry.
*Note: The supercharger is available for post-title sales only. Horsepower ratings are based on the use of 93-octane fuel.
