2027 Chevrolet Corvette: Six Variants, Two Hybrid Powertrains, and Prices From $73,795 to $248,695

Chevrolet launched the 2027 Corvette today as the most complicated lineup the nameplate has ever carried: six distinct variants, two hybrid powertrains, all-wheel drive for the first time in the car’s history, and a pricing ladder that runs from $73,795 to $248,695. One engine and one color in 1953. This is the other end of that spectrum.

The structural change for 2027 is the expansion from five trims to six, with the Grand Sport returning as a full sub-family and the new Grand Sport X bringing hybrid AWD to a price point below the Z06. At the same time, the Stingray’s base engine is entirely new: a 6.7-liter small-block V8 rated at 535 hp and 520 lb-ft, up from the outgoing 6.2-liter LT2’s 490 hp. That engine underpins every Stingray and Grand Sport trim in the lineup.

Stingray

The 2027 Corvette Stingray entry point is the 1LT Coupe at $73,795. The 535-hp 6.7-liter V8 pairs with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission sending power rearward, and in standard trim the car is capable of 200 mph on track. Options worth noting: Museum Delivery in Bowling Green ($1,695) and a high wing spoiler ($1,395).

The Stingray 2LT Coupe starts at $80,895 and adds a head-up display and performance data recorder as standard. The Z51 Performance Package, also available on the 2LT, bundles Brembo brakes front and rear, Z51 performance suspension, and a 5.56 rear axle with Electronic Limited Slip Differential for $5,395. The Stingray 3LT Coupe tops the range at $85,545 with GT2 bucket seats and sueded microfiber upper interior standard. Convertible pricing across all three Stingray trims carries a flat $7,000 premium: $80,795 for the 1LT, $87,895 for the 2LT, and $92,545 for the 3LT. The power-folding hardtop operates at up to 30 mph.

Grand Sport

The Grand Sport is new for 2027. It uses the same 535-hp 6.7-liter V8 as the Stingray but adds the Carbon Flash Exterior Badge Package as standard and unlocks a wider performance option set. The Z52 Sport Performance Package ($3,500) brings Brembo calipers and performance-tuned traction management; stepping to the Z52 Track Performance Package ($20,695) replaces those with Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes front and rear.

Grand Sport Coupe pricing runs $88,795 for the 1LT, $95,895 for the 2LT, and $100,545 for the 3LT. The 2LT adds power-folding mirrors, a performance data recorder, and a 14-speaker sound system. The 3LT brings sueded microfiber upper interior standard and unlocks Competition Sport bucket seats ($595). Convertible pricing adds $7,000 at every trim: $95,795, $102,895, and $107,545 respectively.

Grand Sport X

The Grand Sport X is where the 2027 Corvette genuinely changes the conversation about what a Corvette can be. Its hybrid drivetrain pairs the 6.7-liter V8 driving the rear wheels with a 186-hp electric motor powering the front axle, drawing from a 1.9-kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Combined output is 721 hp, and Chevrolet claims a 2.4-second 0-60 mph run on a closed course from initial vehicle movement. All-wheel drive on a production Corvette is a first, and the Grand Sport X is the vehicle that delivers it at the lowest entry price in the electrified range.

Grand Sport X Coupe pricing: 1LT at $112,495, 2LT at $117,995, 3LT at $123,145. The 2LT adds the 14-speaker sound system, performance data recorder, and contrast stitching options ($495), plus the Stealth Interior Trim Package ($595). The 3LT comes standard with a carbon fiber and leather-wrapped steering wheel and sueded microfiber interior, with an optional Carbon Fiber Interior Trim package ($1,795). The Heritage Graphics package, adding the Grand Sport’s signature hash marks over the rear fenders, is offered at no charge. Convertible pricing adds $7,000 across all three trims: $119,495, $124,995, and $130,145.

Z06

The Z06 steps up to a 5.5-liter flat-plane V8 making 670 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, naturally aspirated. Three trim levels again: 1LZ Coupe at $121,695, 2LZ at $130,595, 3LZ at $135,245. The optional Z07 Performance Package brings the 0-60 time to 2.6 seconds but requires either the Carbon Flash-Painted Carbon Fiber Aero Package ($8,995) or the Visible Carbon Fiber Package ($10,995). Carbon-fiber wheels with carbon-ceramic brakes are available as a standalone package for $17,000.

Z06 Convertible pricing adds $7,000 at each trim: $128,695 for the 1LZ, $137,595 for the 2LZ, $142,245 for the 3LZ. The 2LZ brings a heated steering wheel and Memory Convenience Package as standard; the 3LZ includes GT2 bucket seats and a carbon fiber and leather-wrapped steering wheel. Contrast stitching on the 3LZ comes in Santorini Blue, Adrenaline Red, and Competition Yellow.

ZR1 and ZR1X

The ZR1 carries the same 5.5-liter architecture as the Z06, but twin-turbocharged, producing 1,064 hp and 828 lb-ft, all going rearward. Chevrolet calls it the most powerful non-electrified Corvette ever built. The ZTK Track Performance Package ($5,995) drops the 0-60 to 2.3 seconds. ZR1 Coupe pricing is $197,495 for the 1LZ and $208,495 for the 3LZ, which adds the Memory Convenience Package, power-folding mirrors, and carbon fiber steering wheel as standard, along with an optional personalized plaque ($295). ZR1 Convertible pricing is $207,495 and $218,495 for the two trims.

Then there is the ZR1X. The same twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 that makes 1,064 hp in the ZR1 is paired here with the same 186-hp front electric motor used in the Grand Sport X, bringing total combined output to 1,250 hp. Same 828 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive. Sub-two-second 0-60. The ZR1X Carbon Fiber Aero Package ($12,995) adds a body kit with a rear wing for buyers who want the full visual statement to match the numbers.

ZR1X Coupe pricing is $227,695 for the 1LZ and $238,695 for the 3LZ. Convertible versions carry a $10,000 premium over the coupe at both trim levels, reaching $237,695 and $248,695. The 3LZ adds the Memory Convenience Package and contrast stitching options.

2027 Corvette coupe starting MSRPs by variant and trim
Variant 1LT / 1LZ 2LT / 2LZ 3LT / 3LZ
Stingray $73,795 $80,895 $85,545
Grand Sport $88,795 $95,895 $100,545
Grand Sport X (Hybrid AWD) $112,495 $117,995 $123,145
Z06 $121,695 $130,595 $135,245
ZR1 $197,495 Not offered $208,495
ZR1X (Hybrid AWD) $227,695 Not offered $238,695

The 2026 Corvette started at $84,245 for the base Stingray. The 2027 Stingray opens $10,450 lower at $73,795 while delivering 45 more horsepower from an entirely new engine. That is a difficult combination to argue with. Everything above that entry point is a question of how much performance a buyer can justify, and in a lineup that now spans six variants across two body styles with two hybrid powertrains, Chevrolet has made sure there’s an answer for almost everyone.
