Four new colors in four months. Dodge opened Canadian orders today for Sub-Zero, a blue-grey solid finish that marks the fourth exterior paint addition to the 2027 Durango lineup since August and lifts the full palette to 11 choices. At a Canadian MSRP of $645, it’s available across every trim from the 295-horsepower SXT to the 710-horsepower SRT Hellcat Jailbreak.

Sub-Zero isn’t a straightforward blue. Dodge describes the finish as shifting personalities depending on lighting: deep and understated in shade, brighter and more distinctly cool-toned in direct sunlight. It debuted earlier this year on the Dodge Charger before moving to the Durango, and it joins a palette that now runs from B5 Blue and Green Machine to Pitch Black, White Knuckle, and Red Oxide.

The color cadence has been relentless this model year. Redeye arrived in August, After Dark followed in September, and Smokescreen landed in October alongside Petrol Blue Laguna leather seats for the Jailbreak. Sub-Zero makes it four consecutive months of new paint options. For buyers of the SRT Hellcat Jailbreak specifically, that matters more than it might elsewhere: Dodge now counts more than 22 million possible configurations when combining colors, stripes, wheels, brake calipers, badging, interior trims, and seating options.

The Durango lineup itself hasn’t changed mechanically. The SXT and GT carry the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 at 295 horsepower, with Dodge citing best-in-class V-6 towing of up to 6,200 pounds (2,812 kilograms). The GT HEMI steps up to the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 at 360 horsepower. The R/T 392 brings 475 horsepower and a price point of $50,995 in the US. The SRT Hellcat Jailbreak tops the range at 710 horsepower from its supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI, the figure Dodge has consistently promoted as the most powerful gas SUV output ever offered.

That powertrain argument landed with buyers in 2025: Dodge moved 81,168 Durangos, the nameplate’s best annual sales figure since 2005 and a 37 percent increase over 2024’s 59,357 units. Much of that demand came from V-8 performance buyers who lost the HEMI-powered Charger and Challenger and found the Durango as the only remaining Dodge three-row SUV with that combination of power and room for passengers.

Sub-Zero is a paint option, not a powertrain story. But Dodge has shown across four months of color additions that it’s actively working the Durango’s personalization angle as a differentiator. When the most powerful configuration offers more than 22 million combinations, the color additions aren’t incidental; they’re inventory for a buyer segment that treats the order sheet like a configuration tool.
