Lincoln just handed its most important SUV a genuinely detailed refresh. The 2027 Nautilus arrives with a redesigned front end, two new Black Label interior themes, standard BlueCruise 1.5 hands-free driving across the lineup, and an expansion of the wellness features that have become one of the brand’s cleaner differentiators in the midsize luxury segment. Orders are open now, with dealer stock expected in early 2027.
The timing is useful for Lincoln. The Nautilus posted 10,370 sales in the second quarter of 2026, its strongest Q2 result for the nameplate, with nearly 65 percent of buyers coming from competing luxury brands. That conquest rate matters in a segment where the Lexus RX posted 28,172 units in Q2 2025 alone, a gap Lincoln is still working to close. A refresh that gives sales staff something concrete to point at helps.
Outside, the changes read as a coherent update rather than a cosmetic tweak. The grille is wider and more detailed, the hood is redesigned, and the fenders are newly sculpted. Signature lighting runs from a revised front treatment to slimmer rear taillamps that put the Lincoln badge more prominently on display. Wheel choices run from 19 to 22 inches depending on trim. The Jet Appearance Package, available on Premiere, Reserve, and Black Label, adds a gloss black treatment to the grille and exterior accents alongside 20- or 22-inch wheels. Two colors are new: Nocturnal Blue, a frosted blue with added chroma available across the range, and Frosted Fig, a plum-purple exclusive to Black Label that pairs with the new Eminent Hour theme.
Inside, Lincoln has expanded the theme options at every trim level. Premiere and Reserve buyers can now choose the lighter Afterglow theme; Reserve also gains Hot Chocolate. The existing Black Onyx treatment gets a revised treatment with a full-black lower panel against a lighter upper cabin. Black Label goes furthest, with two entirely new themes. Eminent Hour draws from a desert sunset palette: Tranquil Dusk Menorca seating, Eminent Fade perforation, warm stitching, Eminent Copper Ash open-pore wood, and an Ebony headliner. Elysian Light takes its reference point from sunrise over water, pairing Soft Cloud leather with Still Water Blue accents, Pearlescent Ash wood, and a Soft Cloud headliner. The materials-level attention to those themes is the kind of detail Lincoln describes as appearing almost imperceptible in neutral light, then revealing itself when cabin lighting activates.
Wellness content expands with the Renew Package, now available on Reserve 200A, which bundles Lincoln Rejuvenate with 24-way Perfect Position seats, memory, and massage up front. Lincoln Rejuvenate combines seat position, climate control, audio, and ambient visuals into a coordinated parked reset experience. Digital Scent, which delivers curated fragrances through the ventilation system, is also available to personalize the cabin further.
On the technology front, the 48-inch panoramic display remains the centerpiece of the Lincoln Digital Experience. Standard equipment now includes the Lincoln Connectivity Package with embedded Google Maps, Google apps, voice assistance, and four years of activated connectivity covering navigation, apps, and an unlimited Wi-Fi hotspot. Every Nautilus also comes with four years of the Lincoln Security Package. The headline standard-equipment addition is BlueCruise 1.5, which enables hands-free highway driving with automatic lane changes to match traffic flow, included on every trim from the start.
Two powertrains carry over. The standard engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 250 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic. The hybrid option combines a 2.0-liter turbocharged high-output engine with a 100 kW electric motor through a continuously variable transmission for 285 combined horsepower. Lincoln notes that hybrid models account for more than half of Nautilus sales, which tracks with broader luxury buyer behavior as efficiency becomes a baseline expectation rather than a trade-off.
A Nautilus that already sells well, now with more to show for itself at the curb and more standard technology inside. Lincoln’s challenge has always been closing the volume gap to the segment’s top sellers. The 2027 Nautilus is, at minimum, a better argument than the one it replaces.
