Indian Motorcycle, in collaboration with Roland Sands Design (RSD), has unveiled the limited-edition FTR x RSD Super Hooligan, blending the iconic FTR platform with RSD’s signature style and racing spirit.
“The term ‘hooligan’ has taken on an entirely new meaning in the world of motorcycles, characterized by a rebellious, fearless attitude that places having fun on a motorcycle above all else, and that’s what this new FTR is all about,” said Aaron Jax, Vice President, Indian Motorcycle. “Roland Sands has blazed this trail and built the RSD brand around the hooligan lifestyle. From spinning laps on dirt ovals on mid-size cruisers, to today’s competitive racing within the MotoAmerica series, the ethos of hooligan riding has not changed.”

The FTR x RSD Super Hooligan boasts a striking design, featuring Black Metallic bodywork with authentic Super Hooligan race graphics. A classic Indian Motorcycle Red frame, complemented by matching wheels with gold accents, adds a touch of elegance. The bike proudly displays Indian Motorcycle Racing’s No. 1 championship logo on the front and side number plates, celebrating its racing heritage. To further enhance its racing aesthetics, race team sponsors’ logos adorn the rear seat cowl. Additionally, owners have the option to apply additional graphics provided for the radiator shroud, front fender, and front forks, allowing for customization to suit individual preferences.

The heart of this FTR x RSD Super Hooligan is a potent 1203 cc (73 cubic-inch) liquid-cooled V-twin engine, meticulously engineered to deliver exhilarating performance on the road. With a bore x stroke of 4.016 inches by 2.898 inches (102-mm x 73.6-mm) and a compression ratio of 12.5:1, this engine is designed to provide impressive power and torque across the RPM range.
Generating a robust 120 horsepower, this engine packs a punch that ensures thrilling acceleration and effortless highway cruising. Its peak torque of 87 lb.-ft. (118 Nm) at 6,000 rpm guarantees a responsive throttle and smooth power delivery, whether you’re navigating city streets or carving through winding roads.
Equipped with a closed-loop fuel injection system with a 60-mm bore, this engine delivers precise fuel metering for optimal performance and efficiency. The 2-into-1 exhaust system, with a catalyst in the collector, not only enhances the bike’s performance but also produces a distinctive exhaust note that adds to the overall riding experience.
Paired with a smooth-shifting 6-speed transmission and a gear-driven wet clutch, the engine delivers seamless power to the rear wheel, ensuring an engaging and dynamic riding experience. Built upon the FTR R Carbon model, the FTR x RSD Super Hooligan offers performance-oriented parts and advanced technology. Fully adjustable Öhlins inverted front forks and rear piggyback shock deliver exceptional ride quality and handling, ensuring a dynamic riding experience. Dual-disc Brembo brakes provide precise and powerful stopping capabilities, enhancing safety and control on the road.
The bike features a 4-inch round touchscreen display powered by RIDE COMMAND, offering essential bike and ride information. Selectable ride modes allow riders to customize their riding experience, while Bluetooth and USB connectivity provide seamless integration with smartphones. The RIDE COMMAND system also enables riders to track ride routes, receive automated maintenance alerts, and stay updated on the motorcycle’s health, enhancing convenience and peace of mind.

With only 300 units available globally, each FTR x RSD Super Hooligan is individually numbered and comes with a commemorative tank console, adding to its exclusivity.
