Jeep® is gearing up for the launch of its first all-electric offering in the North American market, with the 2024 Jeep® Wagoneer S. Set to arrive in dealer showrooms this summer, this ultra-premium crossover isn’t just about a statement of innovation and sustainability, but also allows the Jeep brand to sell a Wagoneer nameplate vehicle globally.

Power and Performance –

Under the hood, or rather, powering the Wagoneer S is a dual e-motor setup delivering a staggering 600 horsepower. The amount of power, Jeep says, gives the Wagoneer S the capability to go from 0 to 60 mph in a jaw-dropping 3.5 seconds. The Wagoneer S will continue to have all-terrain capability; however, like the other Wagoneers in the lineup, don’t expect it to come with the Jeep “Trail-Rated” badge.

Range and Charging –

The Wagoneer S is expected to arrive with a range of 435 miles (700 km) once it hits the streets. According to sources close to MoparInsiders.com, we have learned that the Wagoneer S will debut with the same 400-volt architecture as its platform-mate, the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona, when it launches. An 800-volt architecture variant will debut sometime in 2025, paving the way for even faster charging capabilities in the future.

Trim Options –

MoparInsiders.com has learned that the Wagoneer S will follow in the footsteps of its larger Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer siblings. With trim options including Series I, Series II, Obsidian, and Series III, there will be a Wagoneer S to suit every taste and preference.

Global Appeal –

The Wagoneer S isn’t just for North America—it’s set to be the first Wagoneer product to be sold globally. From bustling city streets to remote countryside roads, this electric powerhouse is ready to conquer every corner of the globe.

Joining the Wagoneer S later this year will be the all-new Jeep Recon. Developed during the COVID pandemic, the Recon blends the best attributes of the body-on-frame Wrangler with a more conventional unibody SUV. As the first all-electric off-road-oriented SUV from Jeep, the company says it will successfully tackle the legendary Rubicon Trail.

Production –

Both vehicles will be produced at the Stellantis Toluca Assembly Plant in Mexico. The next-generation Cherokee will join the all-electric duo in 2025. Rumors suggest the Cherokee will offer both a hybrid-electric (HEV) and an all-electric version.
