Earlier today, Ram Trucks posted a new teaser on social media, offering a sneak peek of their latest model, the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO. The clip, featuring actor Glen Powell, shows a brief glimpse of the truck’s headlight, a corner of the bumper, and what appears to be a wheel designed for beadlock capability.
This upcoming model promises to carry forward the high-performance attributes of the Ram 1500 TRX, including robust suspension components and flared front fenders. However, it marks a departure in powertrain technology. With the phase-out of the HELLCAT® V8 engine, the 2025 RHO is expected to showcase Ram’s cutting-edge twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter HURRICANE I6 H/O engine. This engine debuted in the 2023 Grand Wagoneer, delivering an impressive 510 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. More recently, it appeared in the standard 2025 Ram 1500, tuned to produce 540 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque.
While we will deeply miss the HELLCAT® V8, the question on everyone’s mind is what the power output of the RHO will be. What other advanced features could Ram be concealing? Fortunately, the wait won’t be long. Ram Trucks is set to fully unveil the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO to the world on April 25th.
