Advanced Features and Technologies

The Silverado EV is available in two configurations: the fully loaded First Edition RST and the fleet-oriented WT model. Both versions are equipped with a comprehensive suite of standard and available safety and convenience technologies.

First Edition RST Highlights:

  • Four-Wheel Steer and Automatic Adaptive Air Suspension
  • Multi-Flex Midgate and Multi-Flex Tailgate with Power Release
  • 17-inch Diagonal LCD Freeform Infotainment Screen and 11-inch Diagonal Reconfigurable Driver Instrument Display
  • Trailering-capable Super Cruise: The industry’s first true hands-free driver-assistance technology, allowing for hands-free driving on over 400,000 miles of compatible roads in the U.S. and Canada.

Performance and Capability

According to Scott Bell, vice president of Chevrolet, “Chevrolet has been building trucks for nearly 100 years and understands what customers want and need in a pickup. The Silverado EV RST has all the performance and capability of a traditional truck, plus all the benefits of electrification. It is an impressive and important addition to the Chevy truck franchise.”

The Silverado EV RST features independent front and rear suspensions, a new body architecture integrating the Ultium battery pack, and power transferred through an e4WD system. The Automatic Adaptive Air Suspension allows the vehicle to be raised or lowered by up to 2 inches for varied driving conditions.

Innovative Design and Functional Flexibility

Phil Zak, executive director of Chevrolet Design, highlighted the design freedom offered by the Ultium Platform: “We had no constraints when it came to designing the Silverado EV with dramatic style and flexible utility because we didn’t need to work around a traditional propulsion system.”

The Silverado EV is exclusively available in Crew Cab models, offering a spacious and comfortable interior. The second row is pushed rearward for additional passenger space, and customizable first-row storage maximizes functionality. The innovative eTrunk provides a lockable, weatherproof storage compartment in the front of the vehicle.
