Acura is giving the ARX-06 a proper send-off. The #93 Meyer Shank Racing entry will carry a special ‘Thank You’ livery across the final two rounds of the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, starting this weekend at the TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and closing out at Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.
The livery documents Acura’s decade in IMSA sports car racing: team and driver names, individual circuits, and championship honors from the NSX era through the ARX-05 and into the current ARX-06 GTP machine. That history adds up to 14 team, driver, and manufacturer championships, 33 victories, and 43 pole positions, capped by top-class wins in each of the four major North American sports car races, including three Rolex 24 at Daytona victories.
Acura announced in April that it would pause the GTP program at the end of 2026. The season has served as a long farewell tour, with the #93 of Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly carrying wins as the team works toward the finish. Earlier in 2026, the duo took the win at Long Beach before both Acura entries pushed for position at Watkins Glen, and the program then traveled to Road America in August for one of its final outings before the calendar wound down.
Commemorative liveries in motorsports often read as marketing exercises. This one has enough behind it to justify the graphic. Thirty-three wins, three Daytona victories, and a full decade spanning three distinct race cars is a legitimate résumé. The artwork naming individual tracks and championships is the closest thing to a graphic footnote the team can put on a 200-mph prototype.
Indianapolis is this weekend. Road Atlanta is the close. Whatever the results, the ARX-06’s final two race weekends will look different from anything else on the GTP grid.
