Acura Brings Three All-Star Lineups to Petit Le Mans for ARX-06's Final Race Before Program Pause

Acura is bringing its biggest names to Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta this weekend, and it needs to. The 2026 Petit Le Mans is the final race for the ARX-06 GTP before the program pauses, and Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian is not walking away quietly.

Two ARX-06s will take the green flag in Saturday’s 10-hour race, each carrying a three-driver lineup that reads more like an all-star ballot than a typical endurance entry. The #60 returns Tom Blomqvist and Colin Braun, who shared the car for MSR’s consecutive Petit wins in 2022 and 2023, and adds Scott Dixon. Dixon is a two-time Petit Le Mans winner himself, giving the #60 a combined résumé that few endurance entries can match.

The #93 pairs full-season drivers Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly with Alex Palou, who secured his fifth NTT IndyCar Series championship at Milwaukee last month, his fourth consecutive title before turning 30. Palou and Yelloly already have a 2026 win together at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. The #93 will run a special livery marking a decade of Acura competition in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

MSR’s record at Road Atlanta is worth noting before the field even forms up. The team’s first Petit win came in 2016 aboard a Ligier JSP2 Honda, part of a Honda 1-2 result. The second came in 2022, when Blomqvist, Oliver Jarvis, and Helio Castroneves drove the ARX-05 to victory and completed a sweep of the IMSA drivers’, teams’, and manufacturers’ championships. The third followed in 2023 with the ARX-06’s debut season, Blomqvist, Braun, and Castroneves defending the title in the hybrid era’s first year at Road Atlanta. Saturday would be the fourth.

Acura and Honda Racing Corporation USA have won 11 times at Road Atlanta going back to 1991, when Acura took the first of three consecutive victories at the circuit. The 2024 race ended differently, with the championship pressure MSR carried into this stretch of the 2026 season a reminder of how quickly a Road Atlanta race can turn. That year, contact between two GTD cars in the final hour collected the #10 Wayne Taylor Racing entry and ended its shot at the win.

Coverage begins Saturday, October 3, on NBC from noon to 3 PM ET, continuing on NBCSN from 3 to 10:30 PM. Flag-to-flag coverage runs on NBC Peacock, with international viewers on IMSA’s YouTube channel and Radio Le Mans audio on IMSA.com.

For a program closing out its current chapter, Acura is not short on motivation. Eleven wins at this track, back-to-back Petit titles, and a lineup stacked with championship pedigree. The ARX-06 has one race left to add to that count.
