Ford and Filson have launched the Bronco Filson, a premium 4×4 SUV that pairs Bronco’s Sasquatch hardware with leather-and-brass cabin materials pulled from Filson’s outdoor-gear catalog. Ford prices the vehicle in the mid-$70,000s, with orders opening fall 2026 and deliveries starting early 2027.
The powertrain is the 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 shared with the Bronco Raptor, though Ford applies application-specific tuning here. Horsepower and torque figures have not been disclosed. Every Bronco Filson comes standard with the Sasquatch package, which bundles front and rear electronic locking differentials, Fox shocks with internal bypass technology, and 35-inch rugged-terrain tires. Ford calls the 35s the largest rubber fitted to any premium 4×4 SUV, a superlative that holds only if you count the Bronco Filson as premium and a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 as either not-premium or not-4×4.
The Terrain Management System offers seven G.O.A.T. Modes: Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, Baja, Off-Road, and Rock Crawl. Trail Turn Assist tightens the turning radius on technical sections. Trail 1-Pedal Drive handles low-speed rock crawling without the driver needing to modulate throttle and brake separately. The high-strength steel ladder frame is Bronco-specific, not borrowed from the F-150 or Ranger.

The cabin is where the Filson collaboration lands hardest. Perforated quilted leather covers the seats. Woven fabric inspired by Filson’s rugged twill appears as seat trim. The instrument panel and steering wheel are wrapped in leather. Brass accents dress the steering wheel bezel and the G.O.A.T. Modes dial. Paul Wraith, Ford’s global design director for sport utility vehicles, framed the material choices around durability rather than luxury for its own sake. If a buyer hesitates to get the cabin dirty, Wraith said, the material does not belong in a Bronco.
Ford claims the Bronco Filson is the quietest Bronco cabin built to date, citing improved airflow, acoustic glass, and enhanced seals that reduce wind and road noise. The company quantifies the improvement as nearly 20 percent less perceived wind noise versus the 2021 Bronco. Ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and an upgraded B&O audio system arrive as standard equipment. A 12-inch SYNC 4 screen provides access to a standard 360-degree camera system and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which means onX off-road trail maps are available if the buyer subscribes to that service separately.

The utility angle shows up in removable saddlebags integrated into the doors and optional cargo-area bags. The bags are made from water-resistant and dirt-resistant materials. Detachable compartments inside the bags are sized for fly boxes, first-aid kits, and camera lenses. A digital rearview mirror with a washer keeps the view clear when the cargo area is loaded. Power running boards deploy automatically to handle entry and exit given the Bronco Filson’s high ground clearance.
Outside, the Bronco Filson carries a unique front grille with distinct BRONCO lettering, heritage-painted wheel arches, painted mirror caps, and trail sight tie-downs designed to secure longer gear like canoes. Available colors include Field Green Metallic (exclusive to the Bronco Filson), Marsh Gray, Avalanche Gray, Desert Sand, Shadow Black, and Oxford White.

Ford will offer a Bronco Filson First Edition for North America at launch. The First Edition adds exclusive Iron Sands Copper Metallic paint, a unique fender badge, and a custom serialized console badge. Filson-inspired cargo storage bags are part of the First Edition package. Ford has not disclosed whether the First Edition carries a price premium over the standard Bronco Filson’s mid-$70,000s starting figure.
The Bronco Filson is assembled at Ford’s Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, Michigan, the same facility that has built Bronco SUVs since the nameplate’s return in 2021. Orders open fall 2026. Deliveries start early 2027. Beginning in July 2026, Ford will run a multi-city Bronco Filson Tour showcasing the vehicle’s design, materials, and capability. A limited-edition Bronco x Filson apparel and gear collection launches June 4 exclusively at Filson stores and Filson.com.
The mid-$70,000s starting price positions the Bronco Filson above the volume Bronco trims and below the Bronco Raptor, which started at $80,995 for 2024. Ford has not published a final MSRP. The Jeep Wrangler led the segment with 44,461 units delivered in Q1 2026, while the Ford Bronco moved 31,197 units over the same period. Whether buyers in that segment are willing to pay a premium for brass accents and quilted leather is the question Ford and Filson are betting on.
