Ford has revealed the all-electric Puma Gen-E, a sleek and compact crossover designed for the European market. With its sporty design, practical features, and zero-emissions powertrain, the Puma Gen-E builds on the success of its hybrid predecessor, offering an exciting new option for EV enthusiasts.

The Puma is already a familiar name in Europe, where it became Ford’s bestselling vehicle in 2021, surpassing the Fiesta. Now, the company is electrifying this popular nameplate to meet the growing demand for sustainable transportation.

The fully electric Puma Gen-E joins Ford’s expanding lineup of EVs, demonstrating the automaker’s commitment to greener mobility in Europe, even as some enthusiasts wish similar efforts were being prioritized in other markets.

Performance and Efficiency –

The Puma Gen-E offers a range of up to 376 kilometers (233 miles) on a full charge, catering to urban and suburban drivers alike. Equipped with 100kW DC fast-charging capability, it can recharge from 10 to 80 percent in just 23 minutes, ensuring convenience on long journeys.

The compact crossover delivers a balanced performance, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 8 seconds, a respectable figure for a vehicle of its size and class.

Compact Yet Spacious –

Measuring 4,214 mm (165.9 inches) in length, 1,930 mm (75.9 inches) in width, and 1,555 mm (61.2 inches) in height, the Puma Gen-E is Ford’s smallest EV. Despite its subcompact dimensions, it makes efficient use of space, offering innovative storage solutions.

The standout feature is the “GigaBox,” an underfloor compartment that adds 145 liters (5 cubic feet) of storage. This is significantly larger than the 2.8 cubic feet of underfloor space in the gas-powered Puma, enhancing the vehicle’s practicality for its compact size.

Bold New Look –

Available in eye-catching Bumblebee Yellow, the Puma Gen-E is designed to turn heads on the road while embodying the energetic personality of a sporty crossover.
