HRC Performance Parts Arrive at SEMA: Forged Wheels and Borla Exhausts for Civic Type R, Integra Type S, and Passport

Honda Racing Corporation USA is converting two years of SEMA prototypes into actual products. Today at the Las Vegas Convention Center, HRC US announced the first retail lineup of HRC Performance Parts, covering three vehicles across two disciplines: lightweight forged wheels and tuned exhaust systems for the Honda Civic Type R and Acura Integra Type S on the street, and a separate wheel and exhaust package for the Honda Passport and Pilot on the trail. Parts reach dealerships and Honda DreamShop online in March 2027, after completing final testing that included a stint at the Nürburgring.

The step from race operation to retail parts supplier is a deliberate one for HRC US. The organization has accumulated over 500 race wins and 60 series championships across INDYCAR, IMSA, and off-road racing in North America. It announced its intent to enter the consumer performance parts business at the 2024 SEMA show, ran a Passport TrailSport HRC concept through a six-stop overlanding tour this past spring to test market appetite, and is now ready to sell the result.

Street Wheels: ARX-06 DNA for the Type R and Integra Type S

The headline piece for Type R and Integra Type S owners is a 19×10-inch forged-aluminum wheel developed with 2elle-engineering, the Italian firm that supplies wheels to the championship-winning Acura ARX-06 LMDh race car. Each wheel weighs 20.8 lbs., a reduction of 5.5 lbs. over the factory unit. The thin-spoke design and signature gray finish mirror the ARX-06 wheel directly; an available bronze finish references the Honda RA 272, Honda’s first Formula 1 race winner.

The wheel is 0.5 inches wider than the factory unit, running a 19×10-inch profile with an ET55 offset (+5mm from factory). That wider footprint increases front and rear track width for handling benefit alongside the unsprung weight reduction. HRC calls out Nürburgring testing as part of validation. Compatible with 2023 and later Honda Civic Type R and 2024 and later Acura Integra Type S.

Off-Road Wheels: Titan 7 Technology for Passport and Pilot

The off-road wheel is an 18×8-inch forged-aluminum unit developed with Titan 7, which supplies wheels to HRC’s Pikes Peak and production-based race programs. Constructed from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum and forged under 10,000 tons of pressure, the wheel adds 100 kg of load capacity over the factory unit, relevant for owners loading up a Passport with recovery gear. Machine Black and Techna Bronze finishes are available, both with “Honda Racing” machined into the face. The 40mm offset design fits 2026 and later Passport and 2023 and later Pilot.

Exhaust: Borla’s Polyphonic Harmonizer for the Passport and Pilot V6

HRC partnered with Borla, which already supplies exhaust systems for HRC production-based race cars, to develop a cat-back stainless steel exhaust for the Passport and Pilot’s 3.5-liter double-overhead cam V6. The system increases exhaust flowrate up to 6 percent using hydroformed and mandrel-bent tubing for consistent flow through the entire system. Borla’s “Polyphonic Harmonizer” technology shapes the exhaust note to amplify the natural character of the V6, while “Anti-Drone” technology keeps highway cruising tolerable. The compact routing also raises ground clearance up to 1.9 inches over the factory system, a genuine benefit for TrailSport owners who actually use the off-road capability. Construction is corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel throughout, with HRC-logo exhaust tips. Direct installation uses factory hanger locations.

What’s Coming After March 2027

HRC will show prototypes of future parts at Booth #24789 in SEMA’s Central Hall, including adjustable coilovers with camber plates, a Brembo big brake kit with 6-piston calipers, and a short throw shifter. None of those are confirmed for production dates or pricing yet. HRC has not announced retail pricing for the March 2027 launch parts either, only that they will sell through Honda and Acura dealerships nationwide and Honda DreamShop online.

The timing aligns with Honda’s broader commercial momentum. American Honda posted 392,341 units in Q3 2026, up 9.3 percent, with the brand clearing 1 million cumulative sales through August, a month ahead of 2025’s pace. A larger installed base of Civic Type R, Integra Type S, and Passport owners means a larger addressable market for performance accessories, and selling through the existing dealer network keeps the distribution overhead low.

The Civic Type R and Integra Type S communities have never lacked aftermarket options. What HRC is offering is something narrower and more specific: parts designed and tested by the same engineers who prep the ARX-06 and the Pikes Peak entries, sold through Honda’s own channel, and validated at a circuit where no one cuts corners. Whether the pricing reflects that provenance will determine how quickly the March order books fill.
