Ram Trucks Head Of Advertising Hints at Higher Horsepower Ram Variant In Linkedin Post

2025 Ram 1500 RHO Crew Cab 4x4. (Ram).

Last week, Ram Trucks pulled the wrap off their new sport Off-roader, the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO. Revealed in a trailer called “The Convoy,” the new Ram 1500 RHO arrives to battle the Ford F-150 Raptor. While not a direct replacement for the outgoing Ram 1500 TRX, the RHO features a 540 horsepower three-liter Hurricane inline six-cylinder, with all the suspension goodies and styling from the TRX, although updated to fit with the 2025 Ram 1500 lineup.

Much like Dodge, Ram likes to hide Easter eggs in its promotional materials, and thanks to the following LinkedIn post from Jeff Summers, Head of Advertising for the Ram Truck brand, we now know of a big one that would not be easy to catch.

One point of interest is point number 9: Dirt bikes, with 540 on one for the RHO HP, and another bike – which has a number intentionally left blank for the next Ram High HP vehicle with three letters.

While this point is exciting for enthusiasts, it also opens up a ton of questions. It would be safe to assume the horsepower number is higher than 540. The next question is, what’s the powertrain? We keep hearing mumblings about an 800-ish horsepower Hurricane Hybrid setup but haven’t heard anything even close to an official word on that. Last year, Micky Bly, Stellantis Senior Vice President and Head of Global Propulsion Systems hinted at even greater potential for the Hurricane at a press conference in Detroit.

The next question is, what would this be going in? Jeff mentions “the next Ram High HP vehicle with three letters.” Logically, we think that would be the TRX, but is there a possibility that it could be a “street truck” instead? Or, maybe it’s not even 1500-based and could be a HD-based truck; Ram is set to unveil an updated HD lineup later this year…

All we know for sure is that Ram seems still committed to building cool, niche products for enthusiasts, and we will be right here to cover them.
