Cadillac has just unveiled the 2025 Optiq, a new electric SUV that aims to make luxury more accessible while keeping true to the brand’s high standards. This model is designed to be a key player in Cadillac’s growing electric vehicle lineup, which includes the Lyriq, Escalade IQ, Celestiq, and the upcoming Vistiq.

Modern Luxury for a New Era –

The Optiq represents Cadillac’s commitment to innovation and luxury. According to John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac, the Optiq is poised to attract a new generation of luxury EV buyers. Over the past five years, Cadillac has seen significant growth, including a 5% increase in younger buyers in the U.S.

Global Reach –

Debuting in Paris, the Optiq will be available in over 10 regions worldwide, including Europe. Jaclyn McQuaid, president of GM Europe, expressed excitement about bringing Cadillac’s electric vehicles to a broader audience. “As part of Cadillac’s all-electric entry into Europe, we are excited to host OPTIQ’s debut in Paris. We look forward to providing specifications and opening sales for OPTIQ later this year,” McQuaid said.

Performance and Range –

The Optiq features a dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) system that provides a dynamic and fun driving experience. Its shorter wheelbase compared to the Lyriq makes it more agile. The SUV boasts a Cadillac-estimated range of 300 miles on a full charge, thanks to its 85-kilowatt-hour battery pack and advanced aerodynamics. It also supports DC fast charging, adding up to 79 miles of range in about 10 minutes.

Driving Experience –

Drivers can expect a spirited ride with 300 horsepower and 354 lb.-ft. of instant torque. The Optiq includes innovative features like Regen On Demand and One-Pedal Driving, which enhance efficiency by converting the vehicle’s momentum into electricity. Various drive modes—Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice, and My Mode—allow customization of the driving experience to suit different conditions and preferences.

Sleek and Sporty Design –

The Optiq’s design combines sporty and sophisticated elements. It features a seamless glass roof, a distinctive black crystal grille, and unique rear-quarter panel windows with a precision pattern. The signature lighting choreography greets the driver with a light sequence when approaching or exiting the vehicle.

High-Tech, Comfortable Interior –

A 33-inch advanced LED display projects over 1 billion colors, providing a stunning visual experience. Cadillac’s Super Cruise driver assistance technology comes standard, enabling hands-free driving on compatible highways.

Advanced Safety and Infotainment –

Safety features include Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Blind Zone Steering Assist, Enhanced Automatic Parking, and Forward Collision Alert. The infotainment system, which is Google built-in compatible, includes Google Maps and Google Assistant. The standard 19-speaker AKG Audio System with Dolby Atmos delivers an immersive sound experience.

Trim Options –
