Ford Recalls 8,161 Manual 2024 Mustangs Over Fire Risk

Dealers Will Inspect The Clutch Pressure Line...

2024 Ford Mustang GT. (Ford).

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling approximately 8,161 units of its 2024 Mustang. The clutch pressure line may be improperly secured and come into contact with hot exhaust components, which can melt the clutch pressure line and cause a brake fluid leak.

A melted clutch pressure line can result in a loss of drive power and increase the risk of a crash. A brake fluid leak increases the risk of fire in the presence of an ignition source.
