Mopar and Dodge have signed on as the title and powered-by sponsors of the fall NHRA race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the penultimate event of the season and the fifth of six Countdown to the Championship playoff races. The Mopar NHRA Las Vegas Nationals powered by Dodge runs Oct. 29-Nov. 1 during NHRA’s 75th anniversary campaign.
The sponsorship carries weight because of where the race sits in the season. With one race remaining after Las Vegas, championship dynamics tighten. Matt Hagan won the fall Las Vegas race in 2025 and is a four-time Funny Car world champion currently in the 2026 title hunt. Tony Stewart won the regular-season championship in 2025 and has already claimed one Top Fuel win this season. Leah Pruett has returned to the Top Fuel ranks. All three drive for Tony Stewart Racing, which Mopar and Dodge sponsor.
“The NHRA Las Vegas Nationals has always been a standout race for the series, and Mopar and Dodge are proud to help continue the tradition as title and powered-by sponsors,” said Darren Bradshaw, senior vice president of Mopar North America. “This race embodies the performance standards and competitive spirit that define our brands.”
The timing is standard for Stellantis motorsports partnerships. Mopar and Dodge sponsor two Countdown to the Championship races this season, including the event at Martin, Michigan, in September. That race marks the return of NHRA national event competition to Michigan for the first time in 66 years. The Las Vegas sponsorship doubles down on playoff presence during the stretch that decides championships.
Mopar and Dodge will run an interactive fan display in the midway at Las Vegas. The activation is part of the brands’ ongoing NHRA presence, which includes pit-area visibility and technical partnerships with Tony Stewart Racing’s Top Fuel and Funny Car operations.
The fall Las Vegas race has produced a clear set of dominant drivers. Brittany Force won Top Fuel in 2025. Hagan took Funny Car. Dallas Glenn won Pro Stock, and Gaige Herrera claimed Pro Stock Motorcycle. Erica Enders holds the record for most wins at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with 10, the most in NHRA history at the facility. Tony Schumacher has eight Top Fuel wins at the track. Reigning Top Fuel champion Antron Brown has six. Ron Capps and Hagan each have six Funny Car victories at Las Vegas, tied with John Force and Robert Hight. Reigning Pro Stock world champion Greg Anderson has eight wins at the facility.
The event also serves as the season finale for the JBS Equipment NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by Elite Motorsports. The NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series and the Summit Racing Series presented by Hoosier E.T. Finals, where world champions will be crowned, are also on the card.
FS1 will broadcast eliminations on Sunday, Nov. 1. The race takes place during the sixth year of Mission Foods’ title sponsorship of the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series.
