Dodge confirmed the Durango Hellcat Red Fury Edition for Mexico today, a 710-horsepower special edition limited to 55 units and priced at 2,174,900 pesos. The announcement marks a regional variant of the supercharged three-row SUV with exclusive trim details and the same 6.2-liter supercharged V8 HEMI that powers the U.S.-spec SRT Hellcat.
The Red Fury Edition uses the familiar powertrain: 710 horsepower, 645 lb-ft of torque, an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic, and permanent all-wheel drive. Dodge claims a 3.5-second sprint to 100 km/h, an 11.5-second quarter-mile at 190 km/h certified by the National Hot Rod Association, and a 290 km/h top speed. The tow rating is four metric tons.
The current-generation Durango debuted in 2011, making this one of the longest-running platforms in the midsize SUV segment. The U.S.-market SRT Hellcat starts at $79,995, which converts to roughly 1.6 million pesos at current exchange rates. The Red Fury Edition’s 2.17 million peso ask represents a premium for the Mexico-specific package and the 55-unit production cap.
The special-edition content centers on appearance. Octane Red paint, the only color offered. A black SRT hood with a central air duct and twin heat extractors. Twenty-inch forged SRT Lights Out wheels. Brembo brakes with red six-piston front calipers. Inside, black Laguna leather seats with SRT Hellcat embossing, red seatbelts, forged carbon-fiber trim, and a suede headliner. The 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 screen includes SRT Performance Pages with launch control and real-time telemetry logging to USB or SD card.
The standard Hellcat hardware remains unchanged. Adaptive suspension. Torque-vectoring all-wheel drive that shifts rearward bias depending on drive mode, from a 40/60 front-rear split in automatic mode to 30/70 in track mode. The Harman Kardon audio system with 19 speakers and 825 watts. The seven airbags and the full suite of driver-assistance features Stellantis has been installing in the Durango for the past few model years.
Production takes place at the Jefferson North Assembly Plant in Detroit. Stellantis México did not specify a timeline for the 55-unit allocation or confirm whether a similar special edition will reach other markets. The U.S. Durango Hellcat remains in the lineup for the 2026 model year without a Red Fury counterpart announced.
If you are in Mexico and the idea of a 710-horsepower three-row SUV in Octane Red appeals, the 55-unit production run suggests the window will not stay open long.
