GMC has unveiled the 2025 Yukon, the brand’s flagship SUV, featuring a striking blend of technology enhancements, a refreshed exterior, and a thoughtfully designed interior. Notably, this model marks the debut of the first-ever AT4 Ultimate trim, celebrating the fifth anniversary of GMC’s AT4 sub-brand.
Duncan Aldred, global vice president of Buick and GMC, emphasized the significance of this launch, stating, “We’re raising the bar on what our customers expect from GMC’s flagship, and the addition of the AT4 Ultimate trim fuses ruggedness and capability with craftsmanship and refinement.”
Performance and Capability –
Under the hood, the 2025 Yukon offers a choice between a robust 6.2L V8 engine, delivering 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. For those seeking a diesel option, GMC provides a 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine, producing 305 horsepower and a remarkable 495 lb-ft of torque, available across the lineup, including the AT4 and AT4 Ultimate trims.
Exterior and Interior Design –
The exterior of the 2025 Yukon has received a bold refresh, characterized by new grille patterns, distinct liftgate badging, and animated headlamps and taillamps. An available panoramic sunroof enhances the driving experience, allowing for an open-air cabin feel.
Inside, the Yukon’s cabin combines luxury and advanced technology, highlighted by a 16.8-inch-diagonal Premium GMC Infotainment Center. This vertical interface allows users to personalize the display with maps, audio inputs, and vehicle diagnostics.
